I apologize for being 'M.I.A.' as of late... Though most who know me know why I have been so absent.. However, settling into the new house and slowly returning to some vague semblance of a routine... A little stressed still, and prone to be scatterbrained, random, emotional or just quiet... But I'm coming back and working on getting everything together...

So I'm going for a style that I'm not quite brave enough to jump into... Any GazettE fans will probably recognize it, actually... Trying to be brave enough to emmulate Aoi-san... I'll actually throw the ideal pic in, in fact... However, getting used to "bangs" for now... And have a "natural" pic to go with the new style... When I get brave enough to go shorter and more layers like I need to (which is actually now.. Because I've had a week to get used to the bangs, and when they're flatironed, I actually adore them...) I'm going to have to flatiron like, everyday.. XP Because my hair is NOT happy being short.. In the front, it poofs up REALLY bad right now.. I'd hate to see what it will do when it goes shorter all the way around.. Anyway, pics courtesy of my iPhone via camwhoring in mirrors... Oh, natural pic is right after I got my haircut we went to Aquatica, aunt took my phone and snapped a pic of the curly hair... It actually doesn't look that bad... >.> But is natural right now, and looking in the mirror, not so good darlings.. Not at all...

I has one! Can you believe it? Ok guys and gals, here's the update on the Slave.. She hasn't had a haircut in years, because they always torture her in the chair.. But enough is so enough! So? Friend of the family is way awesome, and does hair.. Decided to give her a shot on Friday, and I must say I adore it.. Got a before and after pic for you guys, let me know what you think!

Well, actually, I wish I was somehow at RenFaire again... But I don't think there's a song about that. Though I could write one... Hmmm... There's an idea...
Ahem... Moving on.
Been home in bed, sick all day... I blame my Aunt (though I love her) because she was running like a 102 fever all this week... Yeah.. Fun... I think I've got a temp and I know I feel wonky... But if I was just at RenFaire, hiding with the Woodbabies... I KNOW I'd be alright... They're magic, right? I'd be cured in no time... At least, unti I had to return to real work... XP
On the plus side, the woodbabies and the dogs were thrilled, because I loved on them all day... So, at least I made SOMEONE happy!

CELL PHONES! Definately cell phones. I work in a bookstore and the RUDEST people will come right up to the counter and spend the entire check out time on the phone! And then they get mad at YOU when you try and ask them if there is anything else they need, etc. It's awful!

I feel like I should do a REAL post... Not those silly little Writer's Block things... Those are fun, don't get me wrong! But if you want to know more about the Slave, you're probably not getting a whole lot... (Other than, she's crazy. If you didn't get that impression, well there it is... I just said it. Flat out. CRAZY.)
Moving On.
Looking back: I've never really done a decent LJ post on here... Where to begin? I've moved to Melbourne, FL (east coast of FL)... From the West coast of FL, the Crystal River area for those who care. Now living near my grandmother, aunt and uncle and cousin (who rock) and my father and his new family (who don't). Enough about them.
I have 2 Dogs: A bouncing Labrador Retriever (chocolate) who is wretched and wonderful all at once. He's an idiot, but not yet a year old. (They're idiots for like, ever... And he turns "1" on March 18). He's destined for Search and Rescue work. That's Beau Regard.
My Doberman is actually MY dog... He's my angel. Only about twelve weeks (Born December 7), he's already a gorgeous animal. The way he moves and stands, he's going to be a fine specimen of his breed. I adore his whole family and his breeder, and am very excited to see what we'll be doing with our future. That is my Kai.
The Cats: Ink, Logan and Corvette: Fat, fluffy, spoiled, lazy... I adore them...
The Woodbabies: LOVE!

Hmmm. Mythical or Factual? I'll answer both I guess...
Mythical: I think if I had a mythical creature as my Spirit Animal, it would probably be a Gryphon. They seem very regal, and bold (being flyers) but are no doubt intelligent and loyal. I could use a dose of fearlessness, and I strive to be regal and intelligent.
Close Second: Unicorn.
Normal: A horse. I believe everyone has Spirit Animals that come to them at points in their lives when they need that animal's teaching. At one point a wolf was my totem... But for all of my life, my first love has always been the horse. And so I think it shall always be. Swift, strong and free.

Midsummer_Slave: Is for the Midsummer Knight's Dream, the creators of the fantastic puppets all RenFaire addicts know well. I gained my dubbing at the 2007 Bay Area Ren Faire... (Something about will be slave for puppets...) While working with the all-powerful Master, father of the WoodBabies. It is true to this day (as any who know me can tell you) and I currently house 4 stunning woodbabies. (More on the way)
